In the United States, Motherhood of Africa provides aid and empowerment programs to black, minority, immigrant, and low-income American mothers and children. Through comprehensive healthcare and livelihood support, we tackle systemic disadvantages facing women of color and single mothers. Our US division operates from our headquarters in Worcester, MA, with the mission of elevating mothers and families out of poverty.

Minority and immigrant women face immense barriers to quality healthcare. From discrimination and language gaps to financial hardship and insurance confusion, vulnerable women struggle to access essential care. Empowering Through Livelihoods

Financial instability and unemployment plague the lives of low-income single mothers. Without reliable income, providing for a family becomes extremely challenging. Economic empowerment allows mothers to cover basic needs like food, housing, and childcare. It also provides them with financial security, paving the way for bolder dreams and brighter futures. We give the following services to single mothers:

Uplifting mothers strengthen families, and strengthening families uplifts communities. Our US division partners with local leaders to run neighborhood initiatives and provide resources that can help mothers care for their children as well as provide a better future for future generations.

Donate Today

Donations can be made at our office at 370 Main St, Suite 725 in Worcester, MA. Drop off your package during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. We can arrange for pickup as well. Just give us a call to make arrangements. We are currently seeking donations of the following:
